Landing pages (link in bio)
Build a single hosted page holding all your links, for the one slot a social profile gives you. What to put on it, how to order it, and how to see what gets tapped.
Most social platforms give you exactly one link. A landing page — what people often call a "link in bio" page — turns that slot into a small page holding everything you want to point at. In uYou these live under Pages.
What to put on it
Keep it short. A bio page with fifteen links is a menu nobody reads.
- One primary action at the top — the thing you most want people to do this week.
- Three to six supporting links below it.
- Anything evergreen last — shop, contact, newsletter.
Re-order it whenever your priority changes. The top slot does most of the work.
Building one
- Create a page from your dashboard.
- Add a title, a short description, and your logo.
- Add links, in the order you want them shown.
- Publish.
The page gets its own address you can paste into any profile.
Writing the links
The label is doing the persuading, so make it specific:
- "New single — listen now" beats "Music"
- "Book a table" beats "Reservations"
- "Spring menu (PDF)" beats "Menu", because it sets expectations about what opens
Measuring it
Each link on the page reports its own traffic, so you can see which ones are used and which are ballast. Look at it monthly and delete what nobody taps — the shorter the page, the better the remaining links perform.
Pairing it with a QR code
The bio page address works just as well in the physical world. A QR code pointing at it gives you one code on a poster, a card or packaging that leads to everything, and lets you change what is behind it without reprinting.
Keeping it fast
Pages are served from a CDN and cached at the edge, so they load quickly wherever someone is. If you change a page, allow a short window for the cached copy to refresh before assuming an edit did not save.
Frequently asked questions
How many pages can I create?
It depends on the plan. See the pricing page for current limits.
Can I use my own domain for the page?
Pages are hosted on the uYou pages domain. Short links are the feature that supports custom domains.
Can I see which links people tap?
Yes. Each link on the page reports its own traffic, so you can see what earns its place.
