Terms of Service
Last updated: July 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of uyou ("uyou", "we", "us", or "our"), including our websites, dashboard, link-shortening, QR-code, and analytics services (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Shaswat Solutions LLC, located at 1316 Sundrop Dr, Little Elm, TX 75068. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
2. The Service
uyou lets you create shortened links and QR codes, and view analytics about how they are used. Features and limits depend on your plan. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
3. Plans, billing, and payments
Paid plans are offered on a subscription basis, billed monthly or annually in advance. Current plans and prices are shown on our pricing page.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, invoicing, and the collection and remittance of applicable taxes (such as VAT, GST, and sales tax). Purchases are also subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. You authorize us and Paddle to charge your payment method on each renewal. We may change plan prices or features; if we do, changes to recurring charges will apply from your next billing period, and we will give reasonable notice where required. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise; taxes are calculated and shown at checkout by Paddle based on your location.
4. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing portal. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service, and not to create links or QR codes that point to content, in order to:
- break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights;
- distribute malware, spyware, ransomware, or engage in phishing, spoofing, or other deceptive practices;
- send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or drive traffic to spam;
- host or link to sexually explicit material involving minors, or any content that exploits or endangers children;
- promote violence, harassment, hate, or illegal goods and services;
- disguise the destination of a link to mislead or defraud people;
- probe, scan, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; or
- resell or white-label the Service without our written permission.
You are solely responsible for the destinations your links and QR codes point to. We may review, disable, or remove any link, QR code, or account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or poses a risk to others, with or without notice.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the URLs, content, and data you submit. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the Service (for example, to store your links, generate QR codes, redirect traffic, and produce your analytics). You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, we reserve all rights. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service except as permitted by law.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Paddle (payments) and Amazon Web Services (hosting and authentication). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites your links point to.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content or links, or your violation of these Terms or any law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
